Tuesday, June 21, 1932 Fine day for Yale Alumnae Day. The march to the field by the reunion classes was the smallest in years. Only seven bands, when usually they have from twenty-five to thirty. Yale won from Harvard in the baseball game 4 to 2. Albie Booth hit a home run with the bases full and won the game, much to the joy of all Yale assembled. Tessie, Sarah, and Little Peter drove over to Saybrook Beach. Had lunch then took Nellie and Ruth Chandler on over to New London to see Bob Chandler's little daughter. They report her very dear. I spent the evening of the longest day of the year planting plants.
