Sunday, June 26, 1932 Peter Hodges Barker just ten months old today. We all slept late then ate breakfast as Tessie and Sallie did not feel they had time to go in to church. I drove in to Calvary. I sat with Violette and Clayton. Mr. Blanton preached another one of his wonderful sermons. We had dinner at home and Peter had some bits of chicken for the first time. He seemed to like it. I have had a good visit with him all afternoon. Mrs. Russell from across the street with "Martie" and "Buzzie" called on Peter this afternoon. Later, we all drove down to Harley's to see his roses on the fence back of the lake. They are gorgeous. Came home and had supper in the living room.
