Thursday, July 7, 1932 Another lovely day. Quite hot but just good Summer weather. Drove into the store this morning. Took care of my mail then drove up to the Springfield store. Went via the College Highway. Left a bundle of Wall Paper at Pattison and Company at Simsbury Drive. On to Westfield. Called at the Bryan Hardware Co. In passing through Westfield, I saw the "Small Pox House" where I lived with Aunt Lucy open and went in and looked it over. My but it looked small. Had lunch at Hotel Kimball. Came home via Hartford, Meriden, etc.
