Wednesday, July 20, 1932 Still at the Commodore Hotel and another terrific hot day. Had breakfast with Bob Beals of the York Wall Paper Co. Looked over the York Wall line this morning. Had a letter from Mrs. Wood at the office and I called New haven on the phone. Called up Cally Davis at N.Y. Chamber of Commerce. He invited me to go out to Plainfield, N.J. with him tonight. I could not go but made a date for tomorrow night. Had my lunch alone. Looked at the three lines of the United Wall Paper Co. Also Stanford + Ronkonkoma lines. Had dinner alone and went to theatre. Very hot tonight.
