Hot again and no rain. Everything is burning up. Sarah and Peter drove down from Stockbridge this morning, arriving about two A.M. They started after show closed last night. Went to the office this morning. Tessie, Sarah, and Maud Smith went to St. Paul's Church at 12-30 to the wedding of Rev. Howard R. Weir, rector of the church, and Dr. Margaret Bronson of the city. Afterwards, they called for me and I came home with them for lunch. Afterwards, I drove out to Dr. Robert Ferguson's farm for our annual Rotary outing. We had a very nice time. They have a beautiful place out there.
