Hot and high humidity up to about six o'clock then it cooled off very much. In to the office this morning then kept a dentist appointment with Dr. Camp at 9-30. Had lunch on Broadway. At five o'clock, attended a com. meeting of Budget Committee of Boy Scouts at headquarters, Crown and Orange Streets. Mr. Henry Jones brought me home in his automobile. We had dinner at home. Tessie, Sally, and baby Peter drove over to Guilford to call on the Bullards this afternoon. Esther and her son John are at home there.
