Sunday, July 31, 1932 Very cool this morning. We all slept late then had breakfast together. I went out and hoed dahlias part of the time and played with Peter, who was in his pen out on the lawn, part of the time. We had dinner at home. I took little Peter and drove over to Auntie Violette's. Found she was starting for the train to visit Auntie "B" so I took her down to the Railroad Station. Got caught in a hard thunder shower on the way home. Went down to Yale Hope Mission and spoke at their Mission meeting. We all had supper up in the living room afterwards.
