Wednesday, August 3, 1932 Rain all day long and how we did need it. The first real rain we have had for weeks. Went in the trolly this morning. Tessie was ill last night with a bad head so I made her stay in bed. I went to Dr. Camp this morning and he filled a couple of teeth. Worked on the top floor selecting Wall Paper for the 1933 books. Tessie and Sally took little Peter down to West Haven to see Mary Hall Thompson and little "Betty". They stopped at the store for me on the way home. I have been writing letters this evening to Helen Fox Smart, Al Colvin, and Paul Kieser. President Angell of Yale University was married yesterday to Mrs. Katherine Cramer Woodman at Portland, Maine. Both had been married before.
