Very muggy and occasional showers all day. I slept late although Tessie had been up with little Peter. We had breakfast then gave baby his breakfast and he went back to sleep. I went out and hoed our dahlia beds. They are beginning to blossom nicely now. Tessie and I had dinner together then fed Peter and I put him in the Packard and took him for a ride. We stopped at Auntie Violette's. She was so happy to have a little time with Peter. She loves him so. I brought him home and his grandmother bathed him, gave him his supper, and put him to bed and he went right off to sleep, bless his heart.
