Saturday, August 13, 1932 Very cool this morning. Felt just like Fall. Tessie got breakfast and I drove the Packard in town. Worked till one o'clock then came home for lunch and the afternoon. Visited out on the lawn with little Peter then gathered some flowers, dahlias, phlox, golden glow, etc. and Tessie, little Peter, and I drove over to Mapledale Cemetery and put them on Doris and father and mother Peck's graves. It would have been their 67 wedding anniversary tomorrow had they lived these few years.
