Tuesday, August 16, 1932 Another fine day. Clear but hot. Harley went to Philadelphia to see Becker Smith + Page. Chamberlain and I worked on fourth floor selecting wallpaper. Attended meeting of New Haven Rotary Club at Hotel Taft. Dean Henry Graves of Yale Forestry School spoke on Forest Conservation. Tessie called for me tonight at six and we came home for dinner here. I had a romp with little Peter before he went to bed. A son was born today to Col. and Mrs. Charles A. Lindbergh.
