Thursday, August 18, 1932 Cloudy this morning and a hard rain this afternoon and tonight and we needed it very badly. Everything was pretty dry. We drove in town this morning and we took little Peter in with us for the ride. he does so enjoy going in with his granddad. Went downtown this noon and got some snapshots of Peter at Harvey-Lewis. They are so good of him. Mr. E.B. Pratt of Hartford called to see us today. He is selling the Stanton Line of Canada (Wall Paper). Tessie called for me tonight and it was pouring rain. She had little Peter with her and we drove out to Westville and picked up Sarah, who had been to a tea at June Bowmen Benette's.
