Monday, August 22, 1932 Another morning at the Kieser's, Blandford, Massachusetts. We all got up at 6-30 A.M., had breakfast, washed up the dishes. Loaded ourselves into Paul's "Chevy", all six of us, our bag, and two big bags of laundry, and drove into West Springfield, where we got our car. Bade our friends goodbye and drove over to Springfield store there, arriving there at eight thirty. I worked there all the morning. Tessie went shopping. We both had lunch at the Kimball Hotel then got our car and drove to Westfield, called on the Bryan Hardware Company, then home. Found Sally and baby Peter all right. I drove over to Branford, Conn. to the Rotary Club meeting. District Governor Bill Root made his official visit there.
