Very hot again today. Mr. Chamberlain and I worked up on the top floor all day long selecting the new line for next year. Bob Beals of the York Wall Paper Company called to see us today. I had lunch at Longley's on Elm Street then went over to Chapel Street to Harvey-Lewis Co. and got three enlargements of little Peter. Tessie and Sarah and baby Peter called for me at six o'clock and we came home for dinner. I watered the flower beds as it is so dry again.
