Monday, September 5, 1932 Labor Day. We closed the stores all day. Tessie, Sally, little Peter, and I have spent the whole day together right here and have had a lovely time. We brought Sarah's big trunk down into the library so that she can begin to pack her things for their start Thursday for St. Paul. I took baby Peter for a long ride in his stroller. He is so dear. We have just finished supper. Sally, Mother, and I ate it down in the breakfast nook. I took some snapshots of Peter out on the front lawn.
