A great drop on the temperature. Thermometer down to 46° this A.M. I drove in town this morning as I had to go down to Savin Rock this noon and speak at the West Haven Rotary Club luncheon. I came back to the office then came directly out home to spend as much time as possible with Sarah and baby Peter, as they leave tomorrow morning for St. Paul. Mr. Chamberlain, Miss Hurlbut, Aletha, and Nancy called to say goodbye to them. I drove the Packard and took Sally and Peter in to Dr. Linde office for his examination. He found him in perfect trim. Peter Parker arrived from Stockbridge and after dinner, he and I crated the trunks and baby carriage, etc. to go to St. Paul via freight. Dear Sally packed all the trunks and suitcases.
