Thursday, September 8, 1932 Well, this is the day that mother and I have been dreading for weeks. The day of departure of our dear ones, Peter, Sarah, and little Peter, for St. Paul, Minnesota for the Winter's work. We all got up at 5-30 A.M., had breakfast, and helped them pack their luggage into the Ford car. The put the little ice box on the running board also Peter's "Taylor Tot" car. Little Peter did look so dear sitting up between mother and dad. How Tessie and I did hate to see them drive off. It is such a long distance away. It was hard to have Sarah go a year ago but doubly hard this year to have them both go. It was hard for Sally too. She loves her home and her home means a lot to her and we love her very dearly. She has always been such a comfort to us.
