In bed at home at "Glendean". My cold would not permit me to get up today so I spent the entire day in bed up to dinner time tonight. Then, I got into a dressing gown and went downstairs and ate dinner with Tessie and Ruth Chandler, who is spending a few days with us before her school opens (Miss Footes). We had a lovely letter from Sarah written from Chicago Tuesday night. They arrived there Sunday afternoon. They had telephoned to Mason City, Iowa to the Pete's parents and told them that they could not go that way but that Pete would drive straight through to St. Paul and that Sarah and little Peter would go up on the night train from Chicago to St. Paul. We had a telegram tonight telling us that all were at home at St. Paul. We are so thankful.
