Saturday, September 17, 1932 A beautiful day after the rain of yesterday. One of the C.W. Blakeslee + Sons men came to the house this morning to give us an estimate of connecting the house with the sewer system. I went in to the office and worked till five o'clock. Tessie and Ruth Chandler called for me. We had dinner here. The John Hall called to see Ruth and we all went up to the Spring Glen Club Country Fair. Had a lot of fun playing the games of chance. A young couple named Sturgiss won the chevrolet automobile, having his number drawn.
