Sunday, September 18, 1932 We slept rather late this morning but Tessie hustled up breakfast for me then took me in the Packard down to the 9-30 trolly and I went in to Calvary Church School and taught the mens class. Attended church service later. Mr. Blanton preached. Tessie and Ruth Chandler went in to St. Paul's Church for morning service. They called for me at noon and we all went up to the Prattonia for dinner then we drove home via East Rock Park. Tessie made a cake for the Spring Glen supper tea. I took it up. I worked on my dahlias. The wind and rain had badly wrecked them. Alice and Ed Cole came over to night and had light lunch with us. We called up Sally tonight at St. Paul. Her voice sounded cheerful and rested. Said that little Peter crawled upstairs on his hands and knees.
