Very cold this morning. Thermometer down to 38°. Frost in some places but none at our place. So our flowers are safe for a while. Tessie took me in to the store this morning. I took care of my work then took the ten o'clock train for New York. Walked up to the Lloyd Co. 48 West 48th St. Had lunch with Mr. Lloyd and Mr. Dawles. Talked with them regarding prices, now that our contract is closed with them. Took a taxi down Fifth Avenue to Best + Co. to change a little suit for Little Peter. Had a fight with the floor manager who wouldn't change it. Went over to Macy's. Bought a toy for little Peter. Walked back up to Grand Central. Caught the 4-30 train for home. Went to Calvary Church to supper and board meeting. Orin Spencer brought me home.
