Some cloudy. No rain. Not too cool. The men from the C.W. Blakeslee Company started this morning to dig up our back yard to connect the house with the New Hamden sewer system. I took the Packard in town to have George get the fenders straightened an the snubbers repaired. Lew Chase of the Becker Smith + Page Co. of Philadelphia came to town today. I had dinner with him tonight at the Hotel Taft. Then we sat around and talked and I came home on the trolly.
