Thursday, September 22, 1932 Fine day. Quite cool but no frost. Blakeslee's men finished connecting up this house with the Hamden sewer system. I went up to the Hamden Town Hall and met with Mr. Wright, the town engineer, and Mr. Whalen, sup't of sewers, regarding our assessment. Stopped on my way back at Beaver Park and watched Hillhouse and Commercial practice football. George had the fender on the Packard straightened out so I drove it home. Tessie and I had dinner together then went down and called on Marian Beckley Munson and her new baby daughter. She is a dear little thing, four weeks old.
