Rained a drizzle all day long. Tessie took a sleep over this morning. I drove in town and got my breakfast at Longley's. Tessie had to keep both fireplaces going all day long to keep the house warm. Attended luncheon of New Haven Rotary Club this noon at Hotel Taft. Ray Reigeluth was the speaker. He talked to us and showed us moving pictures of the Olympic Games at "Los Angelies", Cal. Worked on the top floor all day putting the No. 1 and No. 2 Tag books together for Mr. Chamberlain and Mr. Page. Students are coming back in great numbers for the new year beginning Thursday. 180 freshmen reported for the freshman football team.
