Sunday, October 2, 1932 Very much warmer today, which is much appreciated. We got up in good season and I took the 9-30 trolly car in to Calvary Church School. Taught my mens class there. Attended church service also Mr. Blanton preached. Prof. William Lyon Phelps had charge of the Communion Service. Tessie went in to St. Paul's and took Ruth Chandler and Nattalie Gordon out to dinner. I listened to the World Series game over the radio. New York won the fourth straight game from Chicago today 13 to 6, closing the series. Richmond Hodges Curtiss Junior was born today at ten A.M. Six pounds three ounces. Sally is getting along very nicely. We are so happy for Richmond and Sally, also Violette. Alfred Grant called and had some supper with us.
