Monday, October 10, 1932 Cool again this morning but grew rapidly warmer during the day. I had lunch downtown today and went around and paid several fittle. Harley's eye is still bad. He goes home each day to have it dressed. Tessie poured tea at the meeting of the D.A.R. at the Center Church House. She called for me at six and we came home and had dinner here. I spent the evening writing up the minutes of the meeting of the First Sergeants Association, held Saturday night at Fred Holloway's house in Woodbridge.
