Thursday, October 13, 1932 Very much cooler today and it feels as if we might have frost tonight. I went out with a flashlight and picked a big basket full of dahlias. They are just lovely now. It seems such a shame to have them freeze. I insisted that Tessie take a "sleep over" this morning so I took the trolly car into town, had breakfast at Longley's. She called for me at six and we had dinner at home. I went up to a mens smoker at the Spring Glen Club. Albie Booth, the great Yale athlete, spoke on football in general and on the Yale team in particular. He is back field coach this year. They also showed movies of the Dartmouth game of last year.
