Friday, October 14, 1932 Well the heavy frost came, thermometer went down to 26°. All our dahlias frozen and all other flowers too. So sorry to loose them. They were so lovely. Went down to Dr. Scarbrough's office this morning and again this afternoon to leave a specimen for analysis. We had a letter from Sarah at St. Paul. She says Peter is walking all over now. Will not creep any more. Tessie and I had dinner at home and I worked all evening putting snapshots of Peter Barker in an album.
