Cool this morning but grew mild and clear. Mr. Marks, Mr. Chamberlain, and I worked on the top floor at York Street assembling the No. 3 Book. I had lunch at Longley's. Ed Cole came in and gave me a ticket to the Brown game so I went out on the Trolly. Yale played a terrible game. No coordination and no pep. The final score was Brown 7 Yale 2. The points were practically conceded to Yale by Brown through a safety. President Hoover made his second major speech of the campaign for reelection at Cleveland, Ohio tonight. He was afforded a great ovation and made a wonderful speech. Sally Curtiss and baby "Dick" went home from the New Haven Hospital today.
