Sunday, October 16, 1932 Very mild but cloudy and showery. I got up and drove in to Calvary Church to church school and taught my mens class. Tessie did not feel well so did not go to church. We had dinner at home. Jack and Daisy Edgerty called this afternoon. I spent quite some time preparing my talk for the fifteenth anniversary meeting of the New Haven Rotary Club on next Tuesday night. I wrote to Sarah at St. Paul. Later, we called Sarah at St. Paul on the telephone and had a nice chat with her. She said they were all well and that the weather was warm today but that it had been cold and that they had had snow already.
