Rain today. Not very heavy as yet but more promised. We need a lot of it before it freezes up. Mr. Marks and I worked nearly all day on the top floor of our building selecting the No. 3 book. Went down to Calvary Church tonight to supper and to our monthly board meeting. Earnest Stevens brought me home. Harley went to the doctor again about his sore eye. The doctor says it is making fine progress now. Tessie attended a bridge party of the D.A.R. at the Y.W.C.A. building. She did not play but helped Maud Smith sell second hand books.
