Tuesday, October 18, 1932 Rained hard all day long with high winds. What the old folks would call the "Line Storm". We had no Rotary luncheon today as we had changed our meeting to an evening meeting to celebrate our Fifteenth Anniversary. We held this meeting at the Hotel Taft at 6-30 P.M. Many Rotary came over from nearby clubs. Al and Lena Colvin came over from New London. Ray Knoeppel was the speaker of the evening. Allan Bagg and Bill Root came down from Pittsfield. Tessie took Sadie Bagg and Lena Colvin to dinner and to the movies while we were at the meeting. We took Bill Root home with us for the night.
