Another beautiful day. Warm but not oppressive. This is the day of the Yale - West Point football game here in the Yale Bowl and the weather is ideal for it. The 1200 cadets are coming from West Point by motor busses this year instead of by train. The plan omitted the march from the Yale campus to the Bowl, an event that always interested thousands of New Haven people who lined the streets to watch their perfect marching. The army won 20 to 0, being the first win for them in six years. Yale slipped farther back into despair with this game. Yale has played four games now, tied two and lost two. Bates 0 to 0. Chicago 7 to 7. Brown 7 to 2. Army 20 to 0. Yale has made but one touchdown in four games. This has never happened before in Yale history. Wilbur, a tackle, is captain. "Mal" Stevens is head coach. Commerford and Walsh assistants.
