A beautiful day. Tessie does not feel so good. We got breakfast and I drove in town and taught the mens class at Calvary Church School. Then I came right back home, got Tessie, and we drove over to New London to have dinner with the Colvin's. It was a beautiful drive. The Autumn colors were at their best. Bob and Midge Chandler had also been invited to dinner so we had a nice visit all around. The Chandlers brought their two children over later. Bobby is a dear boy. The baby Marjorie Ann is making a brave fight for existence. We stopped at the Chandler's on our way home and had toasted brans and tea with them. Drove home at night, arriving safely. A very happy and restful day.
