Wednesday, October 26, 1932 Very warm today. Tessie took me in to the store this morning. Men representing several wall paper factories called today, Mr. Lloyd of the W.H.S. Lloyd Co. of New York among them. I went to lunch with him at the Hotel Taft. I was busy all afternoon writing up our orders for the No. 3 Book. I am very late on this book. Tessie called for me at six and we had dinner at home. I spent part of the evening finishing up our book of snapshots of baby Peter and also listened to several campaign speeches over the radio. Both for Hoover and Curtiss and Roosevelt and Garner. Interest in the election is now at fever heat. Each side is doing everything possible to advance their candidate.
