Saturday, October 29, 1932 Clear and lovely today. Thomas Gordon Hull called at the store to see me today on his way home to Chicago. He is the husband of Edna Crittenden Hull. Andy Gibson of Becker Smith and Page called also. Mr. Binkley, assistant pastor at Calvary Church, gave his ticket to the Yale - Dartmouth game and "O Boy" was it a game. Dartmouth came here today to win and break the jinx that has hovered over the Yale Bowl and prevented them from ever winning from Yale. They have played fifteen games. Three have been tied. Yale has won all the rest. I came home on the trolly car. After supper, Tessie and I drove in to the store to get a letter from Sarah that had arrived this afternoon. Yale 6 Dartmouth 0. Brown 14 Harvard 0. Pitt 14 Notre Dame 0. Michigan 14 Princeton 7.
