Tuesday, November 1, 1932 Rained hard up to early afternoon. Went to the Hotel Taft to the luncheon of the New Haven Rotary Club. Tom Steele spoke on "The Community Chest". Gave us a heart to heart talk on the problems of the Chest. I walked on down town afterwards and did some errands. Worked all afternoon pricing 1933 Wall Paper Books. Attended committee meeting of the membership committee of New Haven Rotary Club at Graduates Club, 5-15. Went over to Waldorf Lunch, corner of High and Chapel Street. Got some supper then went to Calvary Church House to a committee meeting to decide on a program for our Sunday evening services this Winter.
