Beautiful Fall day, clear and crisp. Tessie's Aunt Belle is here for a few days and Tessie took her for a ride through the country. I went over to the new hospital and called on Mrs. Thomas King (Betty Lane), who is there with her little daughter. We had Mr. Botsford, our bookkeeper, draw off a list of our creditors in preparation for Harley's visit to New York and Newark tomorrow. Home tonight. I repiled the wood in the garage to make room for our dahlia boxes. We also heard Mrs. Nicholas Longworth and Mrs. Susanne Silvercroy Farman speak over the radio in favor of President Hoover.
