Saturday, November 5, 1932 Cloudy today. I worked till one o'clock then came home and had lunch with Tessie. Then put on some old clothes and went out and dug up most of our dahlia bulbs. I hope to get the rest of them in tomorrow afternoon. Yale did not play football today. This was an open date on her schedule. Most of the team went to Cambridge to watch Harvard in her game with West Point. Army won 46 to 0. Wow! It seems that army always beats Harvard in their home stadium. Princeton 53 Lehigh 0. Brown 10 Holy Cross 7. Pitt 19 Penn 12. Columbia 7 Navy 6. We listened to President Hoover speak at St. Paul, Minn. to a great throng, who gave him a great reception. He is on his way to Palo Alto, California to vote.
