Sunday, November 6, 1932 Fine this morning. Cloudy this afternoon. Rain tonight. I drove in town this morning and spoke at Calvary Church School at our Armistice Day program on the subject of "The Stupidity of War". Attended morning service and communion. Mr. Blanton preached. I brought Mrs. Williams and Bill Feasta Machen out to Spring Glen after church. Tessie and I had dinner alone then I finished digging up our dahlia bulbs. I also took off the screen doors and some of the window screens. Ed and Alice Cole came out to supper. We had chicken salad and waffles. Tessie sure knows how to make 'em. I have just finished writing to Sarah and so to bed.
