A fine day, gray and quite cold. I went in to Calvary Church School and taught my mens class. Attended church service at 11 AM. Tessie drove in to St. Paul's Church. Called for me afterwards and we went out to Ruth Chandler's apartment on Orange Street to dinner. She arranged such a lovely dinner for us. From there, we drove up to the cemetery and brought home the flower vases. Went on over to Richmond and Sally Curtiss and saw their six week old baby boy. He is so dear. Harley, Alice, Lois, Grandma Smile and Jane also called and Mr. and Mrs. Kingdon Jackson and their baby.

(I assume "Grandma Smile" is likely "Grandma Smith", Alice's mom. She's in the middle of the rest of Harley's family.)
