Tuesday, November 15, 1932 A lovely day. Clear and quite mild. Tessie rested this morning so I took the trolly in to town and had breakfast at Longley's. Harley and I attended Rotary luncheon of the New Haven Club at the Hotel Taft. We met in the Palm Room this noon as the Community Chest workers were meeting in the Ball Room. I went down town this afternoon and ordered some Christmas cards for Sarah. We will send them on to her when they are ready. Tessie called for me tonight and we had dinner at home and spent the evening reading and writing.
