Very mild and drizzly and damp. Lots of snow and zero temperatures in the West as far South as Texas. Two above zero at St. Paul. Went down to dinner and meeting of Employing Master Painters Ass'n at Silverberg's Kosher Restaurant on Crown Street. Dinner wasn't so bad. I spoke to them on conditions now and in the future. The Broadway Bank and Trust Co., which closed last December, paid a dividend of 10% today. This is the second payment. They paid a dividend of 20% a while ago. I sent the money on to Sarah, also $1.62 that was in an old iron bank that they gave her in 1913. She was then nine years old. This iron bank was numbered #1, the first one to be given out.
