Saturday, November 19, 1932 Woke up at Paul Kieser's in Long Meadow, Mass. Pouring rain all day long. Had breakfast with Paul and Portia then rode in town with Paul to our Springfield store. Talked with New Haven. Loaded the car and drove out to Long Meadow. Got Tessie and came down home arriving here at noon. Went right in to the store. This is the day of the Yale Harvard football game. Yale won 19 to 0 in a pouring rain. Just like 1923 at Cambridge and 1924 at New Haven. John S. Wilbur is captain at Yale. Mal Stevens is head coach. Other scores today were Notre Dame 12 Navy 0.
