Thursday, November 24, 1932 Tessie home alone today. Sarah and Peter and little Peter were going up to Duluth to have Thanksgiving dinner with the Wallaces. We slept late. I got up and put the screens down cellar, trimmed the vines out front door, and put out the flag. We ate breakfast in the sun room and listened to the football game between Brown and Colgate at Providence. Colgate won 21 to 0. The first game Brown has lost this year. Colgate also hasn't been scored on this season. We went over to Violette's to dinner. Lota was home from Cambridge also Richmond, Sally, and baby "Dick". We had a lovely dinner. It was so thoughtful to ask us. We would have lonely at home without Sarah.
