Sunday, November 27, 1932 Very cold this morning. Thermometer down to ten above zero. Coldest day of the Winter so far. We had breakfast and I went in town on the 9-30 trolly car to Calvary Church School. Taught my mens class and stayed for morning service. Mr. Blanton preached his sermon. Was "In His Name" and a powerful, helpful sermon. Tessie called for me after her service at St. Paul's Church and we came home and had dinner here and stayed home all day by the fire in the living room. We called Sarah tonight on the telephone at St. Paul, Minn. and had a delightful talk with her. It was so fine to hear her dear voice. Peter, Sarah, and little Peter had been up to Duluth for the Thanksgiving and then had gone on farther North to visit an uncle of Peter's. She reports the weather not too cold.
