Tuesday, November 29, 1932 Cold and clear. Thermometer about 19° this morning. Tessie took me in town. Attended New Haven Rotary Club luncheon at Hotel Taft this noon. Dr. Lionel D. Edie spoke on the Federal Reserve Bank Policy. It was a fine talk on the depression, telling us that the graph would be leveling up now. Not so many dips. Tessie met Lena and Al Colvin at the Taft. Had luncheon with Lena while Al attended a meeting at Quinnipiac Club. Harley and I met with Mr. Buckingham, our auditor, and went over our affairs before making up a report for our creditors. Tessie and I home again tonight to dinner and for the evening. I wrote a letter to Bert and Jess Hodges at Shanghai, China.
