Very warm today. Thermometer went up to 60°. Some difference from last Saturday. Tessie took me in town this morning. I finished the inventory of our furniture and fixtures and Mrs. Wood typed them for me. Went out to lunch late. Heard the radio all through York Street broadcasting the Army 20 Navy 0 football game in Philadelphia. Tessie called for me tonight. We came home and had dinner here. I was reading and Tessie was getting dinner on the table when the electric lights in the whole neighborhood went out. The current was off for about an hour and a half. We had to light several candles.
