Sunday, December 11, 1932 Very cold this morning and the ground covered with snow for the first time this Winter. I drove in town this morning. Tessie did not go in. I taught my mens class at Calvary Church School. Remained to morning service. Mr. Blanton preached a wonderful sermon. Had dinner at home. Peggy with us. Aletha and Larry Stone stopped in to see us. They had been out for a hike. Ruth Chandler and John Hall here for waffles and creamed chicken. I wrote to Sarah, sister Lillian, and Ruth Fox Mitchell.
