Tuesday, December 13, 1932 All the world a sheet of ice this morning after the rain and sleet of the night. It was too glare ice to take car out so slipped and slid over to Whitney Avenue and took a trolly car in to the office. Went over my mail then caught the ten o'clock train for New York. Had lunch at Child's on 42nd St. Walked down to East 25th Street and called on Walcott Bros. Inc. and ordered our Wall Paper Book Covers for the 1933 Books. Came back up to Grand Central Station. Took the 4-05 for home. Expected Tessie to meet me but she couldn't get the car out of the yard so I took a trolly car out to the Hamden Plains M.E. Church and spoke at the annual meeting of the Hamden District Boy Scouts. Mr. Talmadge brought me home. Again snowing hard.
